Vase Art
Vase art is the current expression of myself. Taking paper napkins and peeling them to the third layer reveals a very thin transparent design. Decoupage is then used to seal the colors of paper in place. In the last step I use my own special technique and add a color glaze to finish the vase.
My interpretation of life is in the paper napkin. When we pull away all the old layers of our lives, we then reveal a very transparent, delicate being of which is our genuine self. The part, I feel, that God started with in His design, our heart.
I wish through my art that people who buy a vase will appreciate the beauty of our transparent life and God our creator.
